I'm sorry it took so long to get some files posted but, what you'll find here are audio and video files. The audio files may be from CD's I've recorded or they may come from my Zoom Q3 portable recorder. Some of the audio/video files may come from that device as well. Angelika - This is a couple of excerpts I edited together from a recording of Frank Mantooth's "Angelica". It was recorded by the Michielsen Jazz Ensemble from Virginia Beach, Virginia in late 2009 and released on a CD titled "The Buzz" in 2010.

The first 3 links are YouTube videos taken during a concert in the fall of 2012. The ensemble is the Big Band Lier, a student ensemble from the Stedelijke Academie voor Muziek Woord en Dans (City Academy for Music, Theater, and Dance), Lier, Belgium. The band and I were preparing for my Artist in Residency and Lier Jazz Festival performance on November 10, 2012.
Going Home - This is my big band arrangement based on thematic material from the 2nd movement of Antonin Dvorak's 9th Symphony.
Lierse Blues - This is a Count Basie style riff chart. My composition and written in only 4 days. My friend, the ensemble director, Han Flintrop and I "cooked up" a plan where the band would start playing the tune and after a chorus or so, I would enter from the back of the room. The audience didn't know I was there until I started playing. :-)
M.L. - This is another original composition of mine that I asked a friend (Ian Charleton) to arrange for big band.
